What's happening
at Pony Tales!

Pony Tales is at work 7 days a week rescuing, sheltering, and caring
for dozens of horses all throughout the year. We often have many irons
in the fire at one time as we strive to help as many horses as we can.

Horse Rescue Heroes
are always busy

The horse rescue heroes at work here at Pony Tales are always busy. From the moment we get out of bed in the morning until we have done everything that we can for the day, we are constantly at work striving to help as many horses as we can, to provide the care and training that those currently in our shelter need, and finding the best homes for the beautiful souls here. Our down time is often spent in quiet reflection coupled with moments of sadness and moments of sheer joy. We relish the quiet days around here, but are always prepared as you just never know what tomorrow will bring.

This year, we have started Pony Tales 3-6-5. It is a daily blog or Facebook post about our daily lives here at Pony Tales. Follow us as we share our ups and downs and learn what a day in the life of a horse rescue hero is like.

Full Circle of Life Grant Recipient

In 2019, we were selected as the recipient of the first Full Circle of Life grant from Horse Plus Humane Society. We received $10k towards the building of a much needed larger barn as well as 6 months of mentoring during which we piloted a full circle of life rescue that was filmed for the reality TV show Horse Rescue Heroes. Since that time, Pony Tales has transformed into a full circle of life horse shelter.
